In August 2010, one of our visitors to the studio was Yukifumi Makita. She is a part time lecturer at university in Kyoto, Japan. We took the opportunity to interview her about women’s lives in Japan to get an idea of how women are progressing towards gender equality there. She’s talking to Manprit Dayal.
