Welsh London
To celebrate St. David’s day, Anjul Dutt, who was born and brought up in Wales, has been finding out about Welsh culture in London.

Anjul spoke to James Thomas, a trustee of the London Welsh Centre, which is near King’s Cross. The centre of Welsh arts, language and culture in London, the London Welsh Centre hosts cultural events, runs Welsh language classes and is home to three Welsh choirs.

She also spoke to Ned Palmer, who runs the Gorwydd Caerphilly Cheese stall at Borough Market. Gorwydd Caerphilly Cheese is a mature Caerphilly Cheese made by Trethowan’s Dairy in Ceredigion, Wales, using a traditional recipe and methods. In 2010, Gorwydd Caerphilly won Best Welsh Cheese at the World Cheese Awards.
